Susan and Lon, Thank you very much for a terrific Week #6 (Mountain Tour) of Desert Camp. This was my first desert camp week and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with PAC Tour. I appreciated your attention to detail. The route maps were accurate, the sag stops and lunch stops were always exactly where and when they were listed on the Q-sheet, and your crew was diligent and upbeat in meeting our needs. Lon’s rider meeting on Saturday prepared us well to have a successful week, at the end of the week after following his advice I was a tired, but very happy, uninjured cyclist. Several years ago I read about the elite PAC Tour in Bicycling magazine (I think?) anyway, this winter I decided to see if your company still exists. After several searches on Google I found your website. I knew right away that this would be a fun experience. So I came to Desert Camp having never done an organized tour or knowing any of the other cyclists. I thoroughly enjoyed making new friends and I hope to come back and enjoy their company and yours in the future. Thanks again, George M |

Eastern Mountains was awesome!!! Best ride I've ever done. I'm hoping to do a camp next year and in two years do a transcon (gotta save vacation for that one!). Andrew G. |
| Hi Lon and Susan, You two run a class operation! You put a lot of thought and heart into every aspect of PacTour, and it shows. The routes are superb, the support and meals on the road nicely varied and perfectly timed, and the rider material (packets, web sites, daily updates on the rider board) just the right level of detail. What sets your tour apart from all others is the group spirit and camaraderie you foster -- and it lasts far beyond the tour itself. Your passion for helping people enjoy the sport is infectious. I personally really enjoyed the days we cycled together. I now have my own stories to retell about riding with Lon Haldeman and Susan Notorangelo. I am obviously a die-hard fan. You will definitely see me on another PacTour event in 2005. Maybe I will even eventually get my name on the van. Safe travels and riding on the Ridge Ride. I'll be with you all in spirit! Thanks again for another great tour. |
| Hi Lon and Susan, I would like to thank you immensely for the great Desert Training Camp. It was awesome! After more than 30 years of cycling, it is easy to assume that there is not much more to learn. Not true. I learned things every day from both the presenters and the outstanding riders who attended the camp. I look forward to joining you again next year! Best Wishes, Dave M. |
| Hi Lon and Susan, Thanks again for the great camp. Riding the six centuries back to back gave me a sense of accomplishment and pushed my riding envelope. Fred, Ed and the other riders were a great group with which to spend the week. I'm sure another PAC Tour ride will be in my future. Please stop by the farm for a visit if you ever pass through the Berlin area. Best regards, Bill P. |

To the Pac Tour Northern 2004 Crew, You guys ROCK! Thank you for your unending and cheerful support during this year's Pac Tour Northern ride. I know a lot goes on behind the scenes. Your days are longer and more complicated than mine as a rider. Yet, you never let your own fatigue show, and that can't be easy. In your own way, each and every one of you provided encouragement at exactly the right time and in the right way to me during the ride - be it a mechanical fix, encouraging word, pull on the bike, entertaining story, or simply your example of adventure and fun. Most of all, I appreciated your companionship and your sense of humor and enjoyment. I had the time of my life on this trip. Thank-you all for your part in making this trip so special. I hope our biking paths cross again next year. |
| To reiterate what I mentioned to Lon & Susan Friday night after the evening session, that PAC Tour has lived up to my expectation in producing a top-rated camp. Organization of the camp & rides were outstanding, and I really enjoyed the challenge and appreciated the camaraderie and encouragement from the staff and other riders. Dwayne T. |
| Susan and Lon: I wanted to let you both know that Linda and I really enjoyed the camp. We met alot of great people and got some good information. Having a camp in the Midwest was a good idea. Thanks for having us and showing us around your "neighborhood". It's beautiful farm country and several us commented about how neat and well kept the farms are there. A nice slice of "real America". The routes were great and well thought out. Thank you again and hopefully we can join you again on a future ride or camp. Chris L. |
| "How many customers write thank-you notes to businesses they deal with? That must be a sign of something. I had a great week at Camp. I rode as hard as I possibly could and pretty much enjoyed every minute. What a great bunch of people. Thank you for putting together a memorable tour. My next chance for a PAC Tour will be Wisconsin Week next year. I can't wait." Steve B. |
| "I want to thank you for an exceptional vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The biking was wonderful and the lectures and seminars were great. We already planning on attending next year's adventure.

| "Just a short note to tell you how much I enjoyed the past week. The routes were great! I think my favorite route was to New Glarus. With the information I gleaned from Andy Pruitt's Medical Guide for Cyclists I am hoping to correct a problem I am having with my right foot. Even if I had not ridden one mile the evening lectures offered useful information."

| Dear PAC Tour, I am a veteran at traveling with my bike and riding with different groups and organizations throughout the country. What I would like to say is the PAC Tour experience was perhaps the best I've ever encountered. It was very well organized. Lon and the rest of the gang are clearly process improvement guys and they work hard to make everything work right. Their effort in this area really shows, and the organization (at least from my viewpoint as a rider) seems to run very smoothly and they make it look easy (which I know it's not). I am looking forward to another PAC Tour experience soon. Thanks for a great time in AZ. Keith M. |
