WHAT DOES LON DO ON A FRIDAY?

Why Ride PAC Tour ?

If cycling across America has been a lifelong dream for you, we understand your passion. We also understand you have other options of how you pursue this dream. You could have chosen other touring companies to ride with or you could have planned a self contained tour yourself. We have a few reasons why PAC Tour is your best way to live your desire to cycle across America.

Here is a little background about us. Since 1980, we have been organizing long distance cycling events. We have raced across America over twenty times winning or setting records during twelve of those races. Combined we were the first man and woman racers to cycle across America in under 11 days, 10 days, and 8 days. We are telling you this not to impress you, but to let you know that during PAC Tour when you feel tired and sore, you will receive the support and encouragement from people who know how you feel and how to help you.

PAC Tour has organized over seventy tours across America. All these tours have averaged between 100 and 200 miles per day. Since these tours are physically challenging for riders, PAC Tour has refined the best support to make each tour as enjoyable as possible. If you have limited vacation time PAC Tour has a tour and training goals to fit your fitness level. We know it is easy to tell you PAC Tour offers the best service, but we would rather show you what we have personally learned during 100,000 miles of PAC Tour events.

We will make sure you are ready to go by working with you months before your tour with a specific training program. We have helped prepare over 1000 riders to complete the most ambitious cycling goal of their lives. If you have a cycling concern regarding: fitness, bike equipment, motivation and preparation, PAC Tour can help before, during, and after your tour.

Each PAC Tour is planned to be fun and not drudgery. Good cycling routes are planned to offer safety, good roads and points of interest. Many PAC Tour Alumni have ridden two, three, or four different tours across America with us. These veteran riders demand excellent service, accommodations, and camaraderie. If you would like to ask them specific questions about their experience, we would be glad to provide you with a list of PAC Tour veterans for you to contact directly. We hope to ride across America with you soon.

Sincerely,
Lon Haldeman
Susan Notorangelo
