Arizona Desert Training Camp Brevets will happen in 2007! These events are for riders who want to qualify for Paris-Brest Paris or want to include a longer training ride in their schedule.
A 200 KM Brevet will run on the following days out of Sierra Vista. The host hotel will be announced to registered Brevet riders.

Depart 7:00 AM
Bright Front and Rear lights are required after 6:30 PM
The 200 KM Brevet will begin from our host hotel in Sierra Vista on Rt. 92. The route goes to the Nogales Airport and back. Riders are expected to be self-supported. There are locations to purchase snacks at the control points every 30 miles.
The 300 KM Brevet will run on these Saturdays from our host hotel in Tucson, Country Inn and Suites.

The 300 KM Brevet will begin at the Country Inn and Suites near the Tucson Airport. The route will go southeast of Tucson to Tombstone and back. Riders are expected to be self-supported. There are locations to purchase snacks at the control points every 30 miles.
PAC Tour lighting standard requires that a LED or Halogen white headlight is bright enough to illuminate the roadway 5 meters in front of the bike with a rideable beam of light. The taillight must be a red LED flashing light with at least 5 bulbs. The taillight must be mounted to the bicycle and visible for at least 500 feet.
Reflective vests and reflective tape are also needed.
Each Brevet will cost $25 to non-camp participants. Medals for those that complete the brevets are optional at $12, each which includes shipping.
Register for Brevets by sending in your name, address, and RUSA number with your check payable to PAC TOUR. No credit cards accepted for Brevets. Preregistration must be made 30 days in advance. Day of event registration closes 30 minutes before the Brevet start time. No late starts. At registration, you will sign a liability waiver for RUSA and PAC TOUR.
